I Am My Father's Child...

Something sad happened tonight. Alicia's computer acted crazy and gave her the black screen of death (or in other words, it crashed). This caused a mild panic, because our computers are a very integral part of lives. Of course, I did what I always do when I have a problem, I called my Dad. It is amazing what he has fixed for me from the other side of the world. :) Unfortunately, Alicia's hard drive crashed, so he wasn't able to fix it. However, we did make quite an effort to assess the situation. Following his detailed instructions, I took out Alicia's hard drive, and removed my external hard drive from the case. I then put her hard drive in my case to see if the hard drive would work. It didn't work, so we knew her hard drive was bad. However, the whole process was sort of fun, because I was taking apart all this stuff, and if you had just been watching, you would thought that I actually knew what I was doing (which couldn't have been further from the truth). I sort of felt like Jennifer Garner from Alias. Except for the fact that the world world's existence wasn't dependant upon my correct assembling. :) I felt adventuresome nonetheless. I even wore an alias...Can anyone guess what my alias was? Hint... I was an inanimate object. lol
